He told The Sun: "A good word to explain where I am right now is content.
"I’m happy. The minute you complain that things are boring is when life becomes not boring and in a bad way.
"When life is good you should just really appreciate that. I used to be a professional a***hole. A lot of that came from insecurity and not being able to live in the moment.
"When my last relationship ended I had to ask myself a whole bunch of questions.
"The difference is some people will know it and want to change, others won’t, but I thought if I don’t I’ll probably end up alone with long fingernails."
Michael is now married to Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato. He met the model and former singer four years ago after his concert in Buenos Aires calling it 'love at first sight'.
He told the paper: "I’m just basically being her b**** on set. I’m supporting her but like when she’s tired she may rest her head in my lap for a nap or I’ll give her a foot rub, that kind of thing."
