The duo, both 33, are looking forward to planning their forthcoming nuptials on both sides of the Atlantic.
"We've got some dates in mind and we'll definitely be coming back to Northern Ireland at some stage to do a separate ceremony there with Graeme's family and friends," she told The Belfast Telegraph.
"We've got it figured out I think. We're both pretty low key, but we have a definite idea of what we want.
"It's more about the company involved and the location, that's the most important thing to us. I think everything else will fall into place."
The couple met when McDowell hired Kristin to decorate his Orlando home.
