The pair said 'I do' in Barrow Town Hall on Saturday in front of friends and family.
Fellow Hairy Biker Si King acted as best man.
Romanian-born Liliana wore a stunning Grecian-style, one-shoulder, champagne-coloured gown, which she made herself. Her daughter acted as one of the bridesmaids.
The pair when Dave was filming for the BBC in Romania. Liliana was the manager at the hotel where the crew were staying and the couple kept in touch by writing to one another when Dave returned to the UK. Liliana then made the move to Britain and has set-up her own design company.
"We started out as pen pals and we were lucky enough to fall in love," Dave told the North West Evening Mail.
Dave said: "It was important to me and Lil to have the wedding here. It’s my home town and although I’m away filming a lot, Lil has made a life for herself here too. I cannot get over how incredible the venue looks. The town has done us proud. As a Barrow lad, it makes me quite choked."
