It has been reported that Miley Cyrus and her fiancé actor Liam Hemsworth have split up.
According to the New York Post Page Six website, a number of sources confirmed the news.
Last week, the singer fuelled rumours that her relationship with Hemsworth was on the rocks after she was spotted without her engagement ring. Photos of Hemsworth then subsequently appeared of him back home in his native Australia.
A source told the website: "He needed to get away from Los Angeles and spend some time with his brother and friends", while another added: "Miley and Liam are done; it's over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him."
Hemsworth (23), who starred in The Hunger Games, is believed to be spending time with his family after he flew out to Australia last week.
Also last week, amid rumours of a split, Cyrus tweeted on March 6, “I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth met on the set for movie The Last Song and began dating in July 2009. In August 2010, it was confirmed the couple had split up. They rekindled their relationship and in June 2012, Cyrus revealed the couple were engaged.
