The Twilight couple, who have dated on and off since meeting on the set, were said to have split up last year. The split came after Stewart had an affair with director Rupert Sanders. It was reported that the couple did get back together, only to split again in January.
However, rumours that the pair had once more reconciled emerged earlier this week when Pattinson and Stewart were spotted together at a karaoke party. Since then, a friend of Pattinson has said the actor's moved into Stewart's Los Angeles home.
The source said: "Rob is living at Kristen's. He considers it his home, Kristen's there, their dogs are there and most of his stuff is there - that is whatever is most important to him.
"He considers Kristen's home his home too. I guess his home is where his heart is. And right from the get go, Kristen made it clear that it was also his home."
Pattinson has spent the last two months in Australia filming, and the source said the separation helped the couple improve their relationship.
They added: "Again they have been inseparable since Rob's gotten back. I think the distance did them good. Rob isn't showing any signs of needing any sort of space from Kristen, that's for sure.
"Kristen is confident that her relationship with Rob is stronger than ever and has no problem whatsoever with Rob wanting to take things slow."
