Hollywood actor Danny DeVito and his wife Rhea Perlman are reported to be back together.
According to People, a source close to the couple said that a full-scale reunion between the pair had recently taken place.
They added: "They love each other. Always have and always will."
Last October, DeVito and Perlman issued a joint statement saying they had separated after 30 years of marriage and after 40 years together. Their separation was later confirmed by their representative, Stan Rosenfield.
However, in December, DeVito said that both he and Perlman were working on their marriage. Speaking to Extra at the time, the 68-year-old actor said: "Rhea and I are really close. Actually, still together, just separate, but together."
The pair first met in 1971 when Perlman saw DeVito performing in a production of The Shrinking Bride. Two weeks after meeting, the couple moved in together, but it was over a decade later – in 1982 – before they tied the knot.
DeVito and Perlman have three children together.
