It has been reported that Chris Brown and Rihanna have split.
According to website TMZ, sources close to the couple said the two singers were going through a 'rough patch' in their relationship, but made the decision to separate.
Brown and Rihanna are believed to have had similar splits in the past, and a source said it was still likely that the couple could reunite again.
The rumours follow recent speculation when both Brown and Rihanna were spotted with other people over the weekend.
Neither star has commented on the latest speculation, and despite Brown being linked to a Los Angeles-based waitress Kiesha Kimball, she has since dismissed the rumours.
Speaking to TMZ, Ms Kimball said: "I am always Chris's waitress. I know him and am friends with his friends. Nothing has ever happened. I just work there. In the photos, he was handing me a bottle to drink out of. Of course people are going to twist it another way. I don't go for black guys.
"Whatever is going on between Rihanna and Chris Brown is between them. I'm not trying to be a home wrecker."
Rihanna announced her reunion with Brown in January this year. The couple met in 2005 but didn't start dating until 2008. The relationship came to an end in 2009 when Brown assaulted Rihanna, leaving the singer with facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
