Taking to Twitter this morning, the reality television star told her followers she was going shopping for a wedding dress, Yahoo has said.
Shortly after, the star posted a photograph of herself wearing a strange veil as she tried on different dresses.
She said: "Trying on wedding dresses today.. Possibly the most excited I've ever been about shopping!"
She also took to the social networking site to say she'd had her first ever 'engagement manicure', but couldn't decide what colour went best with her diamond ring.
Mackintosh and Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, announced their engagement last month after a trip to Paris. Following their news, the 23-year-old immediately began planning an engagement party, celebrating for an entire week with friends.
The couple began dating in December 2011 after it was reported Green saw the television personality on the cover of FHM and called her.
