The couple have been dating since 2006 and have two children together, but they have previously said they have no interest in getting married.
Speaking about their relationship in Ryan Seacrest with the Kardashians: An E! News Presentation, Disick said he didn't see a reason to change his relationship with Kourtney.
He explained: "I think if it's not broke, don't fix it. You know what I mean?"
He then went on to suggest that he had wanted to propose to his girlfriend for a long time, but she always refused.
"I feel like I used to want to get married more than she did. And then being that she was always so not interested, I've decided not to be," he added.
Last year, his partner said she found marriage to be "claustrophobic".
Speaking to television chat show host, Jimmy Kimmel, Kardashian added: "I'm really claustrophobic, and all my issues - and I have a lot of them - they all stem from this thing. I can't commit to anything... but I love Scott, and he is my partner."
