A journalist from China interrupted her own wedding last week to report on the devastating earthquake that struck the city of Ya'an.
Sky News has reported that Chen Ying was getting her make-up done at a local photographic studio ahead of her wedding ceremony when the 6.6-magnitude quake struck.
The reporter then appeared live on air – in her wedding dress and veil – to interview residents in the aftermath.
In her piece to the camera, Ms Ying, said: "I am standing at the Holiday Plaza. Fifteen minutes ago, a strong quake struck. But there haven't been casualties in this area where I am standing.
"Our residents in Ya'an have taken effective measures to prevent damages. I hope our city will be safe."
After conducting a further 10 minutes of interviews on local residents, Ms Chen continued with her wedding. However, she went back to work straight after she exchanged vows with her husband.
Around 200 people are believed to have been killed, and a further 100,000 homeless after the quake hit on Saturday morning.
