According to Digital Spy, the singer will seek a decree nisi from Graham Quinn at London's High Court on the grounds that her marriage with the former bodyguard has irrevocably broken down.
The couple dated for 11 years after they met when Quinn became a bodyguard for Klass's former band, Hear'Say. However, he walked out of the family home in April last year, after just six months of marriage.
In an interview last year, Klass said of her divorce: "I had just waled down the aisle, so of course I didn't see it coming – I hadn't even got my wedding dress back from the cleaners.
"When it first happened and I was in the middle of the storm I was just so very, very hurt. I felt I would sooner have taken a bullet. Actually, at the beginning, every morning when I woke up, I thought I had taken a bullet to my heart."
The couple have two daughters together, five-year-old Ava, and two-year-old Hero.
