The 62-year-old is said to have reached a financial deal with his second wife, Joanne McCue, according to the Daily Record.
Bannatyne, who is reported to be worth an estimated £430m, said of his current situation: "I am free to live as a single man. I managed to save enough money to buy a little log cabin on Lake Windermere so I spend a lot of my time down there with my children and a boat.
"I am at the gym every day keeping fit. So life is pretty good. When I'm on my own, I have started baking cakes and biscuits and I'm cooking bolognese. Maybe I'll bring out Babbatyne's Bakery."
He added that he didn't have time for a new woman in his life, explaining: "I spend time in Manchester filming Dragons' Den, at the Lakes, at home or I'll travel down to London. This week I am flying over to South Africa. I don't know how I could possibly date anybody."
Bannatyne has four children with his first wife and two with his second wife, McCue. The couple married in November 2006, but divorced in December 2011.
