It has been reported that Kim Kardashian's short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries cost more than £90k a day.
According to The Sun, it worked out that the cost of the couple's nuptials was around £6.5m. Due to the couple's marriage only lasting 72 days, this equates to around £90,278 a day.
Costs for the couple's big day are thought to include a custom-designed Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, three Vera Wang wedding dresses and imported African white roses. A host of celebrity guests also included the ceremony, including Lindsay Lohan, Ryan Seacrest and Demi Lovato.
Kardashian and Humphries married in a lavish – and televised – summer ceremony in 2011.
Looking at other celebrity couples, the paper revealed Liza Minnelli and David Gest paid £2.2m for their wedding ceremony, only to split 16 months later, meaning their marriage cost £4,536 a day.
Liz Hurley and Arun Nayer spent £1.6m on their nuptials, but eventually split four years later, with their marriage costing around £1,095 per day.
In comparison, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's union worked out at just £548 per day – they paid a total of £1.2m for their ceremony, but were together for six years.
