In February, the 33-year-old confirmed her boyfriend James Heerdegen had proposed to her, after she had been spotted wearing what looked like an engagement ring months earlier.
She has since started planning the upcoming nuptials and told the publication: "So far, we have the venue, we have a caterer and I have someone working on a dress.
"I am [helping design it], yeah. It's fun. We are still in the initial sketching stages."
She then joked about taking a much more active role in the wedding planning than her husband-to-be.
"[Jimmy] is not really into fashion that much," she continued. "He's not even going to help plan the wedding. He's working. He's always working."
Ricci, who shot to fame playing Wednesday in the 1991 film The Addams Family, was previously engaged to actor Owen Benjamin.
