Knightley and Righton tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony in the south of France on 4 May. Just 12 guests – made up of family and close friends – were reported to be at the ceremony, with a total of 50 guests attending the reception.
Talking about his big day, Righton said: "I just fell in love with someone who happens to be amazing. We had a beautiful wedding and there was a lot of love."
His band mate, Jamie Reynolds added: "It was the greatest day ever, it was fantastic. We're still high from it. It was about two weeks ago, it was a big party."
The couple began dating in February 2011 after being introduced by a mutual friend. They announced their engagement in May last year.
Knightly previously dated her Pride & Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend for five years before splitting in January 2011.
