Katie Price has revealed she got to know her new husband, Kieran Hayler, over online chat service BlackBerry Messenger.
The mum-of-three wrote in The Sun that she began talking to 26-year-old Hayler on her phone two months before they married.
She added: "Apparently relationships that begin on the internet can lead to longer, happier marriages than those that start in the real world.
"I like to think that Kieran and I sort of met on the internet because we started dating on BlackBerry Messenger and through texting."
She also admitted she was glad the couple didn't meet in a more conventional way.
"If he'd met me in a bar, he would have got Drunk Nightmare Kate. Instead he got Sober Homely Kate. That must be why it's working," she said.
The couple married in the Bahamas in January, but held a second ceremony for their family and friends in Weston-super-Mare in March.
Price, who is mum to Harvey, 11, with footballer Dwight Yorke, and Junior, 7, and Princess, 5, with ex-husband Peter Andre, is currently expecting her first child with Hayler.
