According to People, the couple are currently too busy to plan their nuptials.
One source claimed the wedding was initially to be held this spring, saying: "Wedding bands were designed and Jen was deciding on a dress."
However, the source claimed the couple's hectic work commitments and the renovation of their home meant "wedding talk has stopped".
"They need to figure out a way to create a life that makes them both happy," but insisted that "Jen can't wait to be [Justin's] wife."
Another source added that the pair have "other priorities" at the moment.
Aniston and Theroux announced their engagement last August, having been dating since May 2011.
The 44-year-old was previously married to Brad Pitt. They started dating in May 1998 and tied the knot in July 2000. In January 2005, the couple announced they had separated, with Aniston filing for divorce two months later. It was reported that Pitt had been unfaithful to the actress with his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie, a claim which only intensified when the pair later confirmed they were in a relationship.
Previous rumours have claimed that Aniston's upcoming marriage to Justin Theroux was originally postponed to ensure it didn't clash with Pitt's wedding to Jolie, after it was revealed the couple also planned to marry in the summer.
