88% Of Britons Would Kiss On A First Date

A new survey has found 88% of Britons would kiss someone on a first date.

The study, which was conducted by dating website MySingleFriend.com in lieu of National Kissing Day (June 20th), also revealed that men were more likely to kiss on a first date than women.

Only 5% of men said they wouldn't kiss on a first date, compared to 13% of women polled, while more than one in 10 men said they would regularly kiss on a first date, compared to just 6% of women.

Interestingly, 79% of women admitted they could quite happily make the first move on a dating website.

Television presenter and founder of MySingleFriend.com, Sarah Beeny, said: "Attitudes to dating and first date Kisses have changed in recent years.

"We are starting to shake off that stigma that can sometimes be attached to 'making the first move'. It's great to see that both men and women are growing alike in confidence, and becoming more open about the dating scene.

"We are slowly shaking off that cringe factor."
