Darius Campbell and his wife Natasha Henstridge are to divorce after two years of marriage, the Daily Mail has said.
The couple filled divorce papers on Tuesday (23 July) and while it has been reported that Ms Henstridge was the one who issued proceedings, Campbell said it was a "mutual decision".
The singer-turned-actor, who found fame on Pop Idol and previously went by the name of Darius Danesh, dated Henstridge for seven years before they tied the knot. They married in a private ceremony on Valentine's Day in 2011 with the bride's two sons, Tristan and Asher, as their witnesses.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, 32-year-old Campbell said: "We decided to file for divorce and we ask for privacy at this time. We filed the divorce papers today. It was a mutual decision."
The Scotsman is said to have moved out of the marital home the couple share in California, but Henstridge denied the rumours via her Twitter account, writing: "Stranded from my own house and yet apparently that's where I'm supposedly living right now..... Truth always prevails."
