Actress Jennifer Ellison has spoken for the first time about the difficult pregnancy she experienced with her second son.
The 30-year-old welcomed her second son with husband Robbie Tickle last month.
However, the pregnancy did not go according to plan and doctors were forced to operate on her as a result.
The actress is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "I felt the pressure of it. They had to break my waters and everything. Halfway through the op I screamed, 'I can feel everything!'
"I was terrified. Last time, if they'd said, 'I'm going to cut your leg off with a spoon', I'd have said, 'Go for it', because I was so exhausted after five days in labour."
Ellison only discovered she was expecting her second child when she was five months pregnant. Both she and her partner had previously been told it was unlikely they would have another child due to health issues the actress has.
At the time, she said: "We'd both just come to terms with the fact that we probably weren't going to be having another baby any time soon - and now we're getting ready to do it all over again."
Ellison married boxer Robbie Tickle in Mauritius in 2009. She gave birth the following year to a son, Bobby.
