Former Girls Aloud singer, Nadine Coyle, has confirmed she is expecting her first child.
The 28-year-old made the announcement via her Instagram page today (Thursday) after posting a photograph of herself with the caption: "I'm having a baby. Xx."
The singer, who hails from Northern Ireland, has not announced when she is expecting, or the identity of the father, but it has been reported that it is her on/off boyfriend and former fiancé Jason Bell. It is thought the couple reunited earlier this year.
Coyle dated the American footballer for three years but they announced they were separating in June 2011.
Taking to her Twitter account at the time, she wrote: "A few weeks ago Jason and I broke up. We are great friends and decided we are better this way. I'm in NYC working & I love all your support. x."
However, rumours of a reconciliation between the pair started in March this year after Bell was spotted flying into London to watch a Girls Aloud concert at the O2 arena.
At the beginning of this month, the singer alluded to the fact that she'd had a 'wild' few months.
She tweeted: "Haaaiiiiiiiiii,,,,, I have had the wildest few months. No joke, since the end of the GA tour, wild I tell you, WILD!!!!!! Loads of luv.. Xxx."
Coyle will be the first member of the former girl band to become a mother.
