Amanda Rosenberg, 26, is said to have started a relationship with the 40-year-old billionaire.
Mr Brin, who is married, is thought to have separated from his wife of six years, Anne Wojcicki.
It is understood Rosenberg and Brin have worked closely together, with the former being a marketing manager for Google Glass – the firm's highly publicised computerised glasses.
Rosenberg was first named as Brin's new partner by Valleywag, a Silicon Valley news blog. This is not the first time she has been linked with someone in the firm. Previously, she was romantically linked to senior executive Hugo Barra, who recently left the company in order to work for a Chinese telecommunications firm.
There is no suggestion Rosenberg was involved with Brin while he was still in a relationship with his wife, with whom he has two children.

A young British executive at Google has been named as the new girlfriend of the search engine's co-founder, Sergey Brin, The Telegraph has reported.Amanda Rosenberg, 26, is said to have started a relationship with the 40-year-old billionaire.
