Nadine Coyle has remained relatively quiet ever since she revealed she is expecting her first child.
However, earlier this week, the 28-year-old singer took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support.
She added that pregnancy is "no joke".
The former Girls Aloud singer, who is now based in Los Angeles, said: "Good catching up. I read all your messages. This baby making business is no joke. Have a great rest of your day! Xx."
Her tweet follows one last week when she told her followers: "Thank you for all your messages about the baby. I am so excited. Told you all it has been wild. Here we go on another journey! Love you. Xx."
Coyle is yet to reveal when she is expecting, or who the father of her unborn child is, but there has been speculation that it is her on/off boyfriend and former fiancé Jason Bell. It is thought the couple reunited earlier this year. Coyle dated the American footballer for three years but they announced they were separating in June 2011.
Following her pregnancy announcement last month, Coyle, who hails from Northern Ireland, was congratulated by her band mates on Twitter. She will be the first member of Girls Aloud to become a mother.
