McFly member Tom Fletcher has said he can't wait to become a father.
Earlier this week, the 28-year-old and his wife, Giovanna Falcone, revealed they were expecting their first child together. They confirmed the news in a video message, in which they sang a lullaby, and carved the words 'We're having a baby' into four pumpkins.
On Friday, the singer – alongside his McFly bandmates – appeared on ITV's Daybreak, when he opened up about fatherhood.
"I think we will be ready by the time the baby arrives," he admitted. "It's the most excited I've ever been in my life."
Harry Judd reassured Fletcher that his band mates would help with babysitting, to which the singer joked: "It'll have three uncles [pointing to his bandmates]... It'll have three slightly irresponsible uncles!"
Tom and Giovanna started dating at the age of just 13 when they were both pupils at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. They broke up shortly afterwards and got back together when they were 18. They have been a couple ever since.
In May 2012, they tied the knot at London's One Marylebone, a 19th century, Grade I listed former church.
