Callahan, 19, was the latest singer to leave the show at the weekend, and was asked about his time on the show as well as his potential love interest.
However, the young man said he and Foster are just "close" friends who confide in each other.
Speaking to ITV's Lorraine, he added: "I'm still single, she's still single. We're just really close.
"She's a beautiful girl but we're just really close. I can talk to her about anything, and she can talk to me too.
"Same as me and Nicky (Nicholas McDonald) but there are no rumours about us kissing.
"I'll definitely be seeing more of her and the boys after the show."
Elsewhere, 16-year-old Foster has spoken to New! magazine, and revealed she is not ready to start a relationship. The singer, who is one of the favourites to win the talent show this year, broke up with her boyfriend last month and stated: "There's a lot of focus on me and Sam, but there's nothing going on. I've just come out of a long relationship, so looking at anybody else is not in my books right now.
"I'm very close to Sam. He is such a positive person and it's really nice to have someone there with such a good vibe, because the competition does get very stressful.
"I look up to Sam. No matter what gets thrown at him with all the bad comments, he has a good mindset."
