The 73-year-old actor is a dad to 12-year-old Sophie and in an interview with the Daily Mirror, he admitted his daughter does miss sometimes miss out on experiences because he is older.
He explained how a trip to Disneyland with his daughter had left him too tired to consider another trip.
He revealed: "She's off to Eurodisney soon but I won't be going. So, bless her socks, she does miss out a little bit with a father of senior years.
"She does get the short end of the stick."
He also confessed that, while he had not been happy about giving his daughter a mobile phone, he felt he had to because of peer pressure.
In 2001, Jason and his girlfriend, 41-year-old Gill Hinchcliffe, welcomed their baby girl, Sophie Mae. It was the actor's first child and he was 61 at the time. In November 2005, he and Hinchcliffe married in a private ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel.
