The Wanted singer, Siva Kaneswaran, has revealed he is to marry his long-term girlfriend.
Kaneswaran and Nereesha McCaffrey have been in a relationship for six years.
In a recent interview with Hello! magazine, the singer admitted he surprised his girlfriend with the proposal, when he turned the surprise birthday party she had thrown for him, into an engagement party.
He said: "It was like a military operation to plan the proposal. I couldn't even tell the other boys in the band in case they blew the surprise."
Kaneswaran added that when he discovered his partner was planning to throw a surprise party for him, he decided to use the event for his own surprise. He proposed to Nereesha with a three-carat diamond solitaire ring which he had specially designed.
"I said to her I wanted a present I would always remember this year by - for you to be my wife," he continued. "I'd bought the ring months before I'd been trying to figure out the right time. I love her, I love every bit of her."
During the interview, it was also revealed that Nereesha initially turned him the invitation after being overwhelmed at the event, but later accepted.
"I'm still in shock. I don't like surprises and he really surprised me, but I was so happy. I can't wait to start planning the wedding," she added.
