Melanie Sykes has been spotted without her wedding ring for the first time since she was arrested.
The television presenter was arrested and cautioned by police last month for hitting her husband. Following an argument with her partner, 27-year-old Jack Cockings, Sykes was reportedly handcuffed and led from her North London home. She later admitted the offence to officers and spent a night in custody.
The 43-year-old is now said to be on a trial separation from Cockings.
Sykes and Cockings tied the knot in May following a whirlwind romance. They met via Twitter after Cockings used the social networking site to ask the mum-of-two on a date.
Sykes has two children from her previous marriage to Italian actor Daniel Caltagirone. The couple married in 2001 and welcomed their first son, Roman, the following year. Their second son, Valentino, was born in 2004. In 2008, it was reported that Sykes and Caltagirone had separated and in June 2009, the pair divorced.
