It is the second child for the singer and her husband Brett Desmond.
The boy was born earlier this month (4 January) and is also named Brett.
The announcement was confirmed on Corr's Facebook page. It read: "Andrea is delighted to share the news of the birth of her baby boy Brett - Born 04.01.14 @ 11am. Mother and baby are healthy and happy and back home with Dad and their daughter Jean."
According to reports, Corr gave birth in Washington, US, before the family returned to their native Ireland.
The former Corrs singer tied the knot with businessman Brett in Co Clare in August 2009. Their first child, Jean, was born in April 2012.
