The couple got engaged in 2011 and have a two-year-old son.
They have denied their relationship is on the rocks, however last Tuesday the American star turned up at the Bulgari party in Hollywood's Soho House without her engagement ring.
Matt was spotted on Friday sad and trying to shy away as he sat with a group of friends.
A source close to Bellamy said:"Matt is living in London in the couple's home while Kate is spending lots of time in the States. Things don't seem to be going well at all. There is talk that there will be some kind of announcement soon too."
