Katie Piper has welcomed her first child with her partner James.
The 30-year-old gave birth to a daughter named Belle Elizabeth.
Piper announced the news via her Twitter account on Friday morning.
She told her fans: "I am delighted to tell you that our daughter Belle Elizabeth was born today! Overwhelmed with happiness. We can't wait to get to know her!"
The mother-of-one recently admitted that the final trimester of her pregnancy was driving her "crazy". She also tweeted: "This Baby is getting so strong it nearly pushes my hand off when I rest it on the bump! No more spinach for you missy!"
In 2008, Katie was the victim of an acid attack at the hands of her ex-boyfriend Danny Lynch. The attack left her permanently disfigured as the acid melted away her left ear and eyelids, leaving her blind in one eye. Her throat, arms, hands, neck, cleavage and lungs were also damaged and she has since had to undergo 200 operations.
She has since become a charity campaigner for burns sufferers.
Late last year, she revealed she and long-time partner James were expecting their first child together.
