Speaking to Digital Spy, the 26-year-old added that she "still feels like a kid" herself.
The actress, who recently starred in the final series of Dancing On Ice, also revealed how she and her partner are enjoying spending time together, away from their work.
The couple starred in Hollyoaks together, but Porter said it is nice to be a "normal" couple.
She explained: "You do real things like shopping and you think, 'We're normal people'. "During the day we're like, 'What shall we do?', 'Dunno'. Instead of going to go to the canteen together, now we get to go to a restaurant... we could just wander around, picking our noses."
When pressed on whether the couple were ready to take the next step in their relationship, the actress asked: "Do you mean like kids? No way, whoa! I feel like I'm still a kid myself. I don't even drink coffee or tea."
