The 45-year-old made the confession in an interview with Good Housekeeping magazine.
The singer has been single following her separation from Spanish model Andres Velencoso in October 2013.
She said: "Internet dating is fantastic and great in general, but I don't think it's for me.
"I certainly couldn't lie about my age. That's the classic, isn't it? Putting up a picture of yourself from 10 years ago."
She added: "Who knows when or with whom I will be in a relationship? I don't know – it's not even on my radar at the moment."
Minogue recently revealed that following the end of her five-year relationship with Velencoso, she cried every night, but insisted that it was a "healthy separation".
