Kerry Katona has become a mother for the fifth time.
The news was revealed on Twitter by the singer's fiancé George Kay.
Taking to the social networking site, Kay, a former rugby player, told his followers: "@KerryKatona7 thank you for bringing my beautiful daughter into this world last night! You are both amazing! Xxx (sic)"
Katona did not comment on the news, but retweeted her partner's message.
It is understood the couple welcomed their baby girl on Friday (4 April).
They have not yet revealed the name of their daughter, but previous reports have suggested they were to name her Jorgie, after her father. Earlier in the couple's pregnancy, they are understood to have picked out the name George because they believed they were having a baby boy. They then changed the name slightly when they discovered they were having a baby girl.
Katona, 33, and Kay announced their engagement in April 2013, after nine months of dating. The singer has previously said they have known each other for a number of years.
While this is the first child for Kay, his partner is also mum to Molly, 12, and Lilly Sue, 11, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden, and Heidi, seven, and five-year-old Maxwell from second husband Mark Croft.
