Ms Geldof, 25, was found dead at her home on Monday afternoon (7 April).
Police have said her death is being treated as "non-suspicious, but an unexplained sudden death". A post-mortem and possible cause of death could be expected later this week.
Following news of the death, tributes poured in for the young mother.
Her husband said: "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever."
In a separate statement, her father, Bob Geldof also paid tribute, saying: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.
"Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.
"How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?
"Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."
Geldof, a television presenter and model, is survived by her husband Thomas Cohen and two young sons, Astala, who will turn two later this month, and 11-month-old Phaedra.
