Ellie Goulding has confirmed she is in a relationship with Dougie Poynter.
The news comes just days after Poynter commented on the couple's romance as part of a documentary.
Goulding, 27, has previously denied she was dating anyone. The singer makes the confession during an appearance on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, which is due to air on Channel 4 tonight (23 May).
When asked by the host if the rumours are true, she admits: "Err, he's my man friend. Boyfriend traditionally. He's a very lovely human being."
She is then pressed for details on how long they have been together, to which she replies: "Well I don't know. We were sort of friends for quite a long time."
Goulding has previously dated the likes of Skrillex, Jeremy Irvine and Greg James, while Poynter famously dated Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays.
