Healy, who plays rugby for Leinster and Ireland, was asked about a potential wedding on Today FM's Ray D'Arcy Show.
When pressed about engagement news, the 26-year-old replied: "No, I'm not engaged. There's too much of that happening around me."
His comments come after his team-mate Sean Cronin announced his recent engagement to long-term girlfriend Claire Mulcahy.
Healy and Carpenter, 22, have been in a relationship for over two years. They first met in December 2012.
