Holly Sweeney Expecting First Child

Holly Sweeney, the ex-girlfriend of Rory McIlroy, is reportedly pregnant with her first child.

According to the Irish Independent, the 24-year-old is six months pregnant with her boyfriend Jeff Mason's child. Mason is a professional ice hockey player for the Belfast Giants. It is thought the couple have been in a relationship for two years.


A representative for the model has confirmed the news, but it is understood the couple want to keep out of the spotlight as much as possible.

Sweeney's pregnancy news comes just weeks after McIlroy, 25, announced he had ended his engagement to tennis star Caroline Wozniacki. He later issued a statement admitting he was not ready for marriage – just one day after the couple had sent out their wedding invitations.
