The couple, who married last October, are said to be "beyond excited" at adding to their family.
According to Entertainment Tonight, a spokesperson for the pair said: "I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln. The whole family is beyond excited."
Bell, 33, and Shepard, 39, started dating in late 2007. Their engagement was announced in January 2010, but the couple said they would not marry until the state of California changed the law to allow same-sex marriages to take place. In June 2013, this law was passed and Bell quickly took to her Twitter account to ask Shepard to marry her. He said yes and the pair married that October. They are already parents to a daughter, Lincoln, who was born in March 2013.
