Speaking to Star magazine, the 36-year-old singer said she had been rushed to hospital and kept in overnight after she started bleeding. Following observation and tests, doctors assured her that her unborn child is healthy.
Bailey, who won last year's series of The X Factor, is already a mum-of-two, but she has suffered a miscarriage in the past. The fact that she is older, she added, means that she has not been able to fully relax during the pregnancy.
"I'm genuinely panicking about this baby because I'm a bit older and had babies early previously," she told the magazine. "I am worried about being pregnant again and the whole process.
"I'm not taking any chances. I definitely don't want to be at Leicester Music Festival in the middle of the stage when it [labour] happens!"
Sam and her husband Craig are already parents to eight-year-old daughter Brook, and son Tommy, five. In March, the singer confirmed she was pregnant with her third child, a girl.
