The singer, who only recently confirmed her engagement with the American filmmaker, added that becoming an aunt earlier this month made her realise that she wants a family of her own.
Speaking to Wales Online, the 33-year-old said: "Am I broody? I've always wanted to have a family and now I see how happy my sister and her husband are. It makes you realise that these are the important things in life. It's a real gift to have them so of course."
Jenkins also opened up about her wedding, saying she is in the middle of planning the big day.
"We're still in discussion about the wedding. We got engaged in April and I have a big schedule in the run-up to the launch of my new album [in November].
"We're working out when we can do it and then it will all fit into place. There are the two sides of the family and people will have to travel. At the moment we still don't know where the location will be."
She added: "I've no plans to move to America. I've always said the UK is my home and I really want to live here. But now I have a nice reason to travel to America – for work and now to visit family over there."
