According to reports, David McSkimming popped the question to his partner - and fellow relay runner - Susan Kirkpatrick last week as he passed her the baton. The couple were involved in the Greenock, Inverclyde, section of the route. Ms Kirkpatrick said yes, and after posing for photos with family and friends, she continued with her baton duties.
