In June, Harris, 30, took to Twitter to announce the couple had chosen to end their relationship after more than a year dating. The news surprised many as just days before, his partner had revealed how much the pair were in love.
The 23-year-old remained silent following the separation, but has now discussed how she is coping.
Speaking to Glamour magazine, she said admitted that she is "not doing great".
She added: "It's hard to have a relationship in this business. We both work really hard, we're both all over the place. It was a wake-up call. I'm gonna tell you the truth... I'm not doing too great, but I'm doing better than I thought.
"I adore him and he's an amazing human being. It was more about the situation, it was inconvenient, it was s**t, it sucks."
