Calvin Harris Hits Out At Ex

Calvin Harris has hit out at his former girlfriend Rita Ora after she said it was his fault she did not perform at this year's Teen Choice Awards.

Ora, 23, was being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest earlier this week when she was asked about why her new single, I Will Never Let You Down, was not included in the show. The song was one the singer and her ex had recorded together, but when pressed on the issue, Ora said Harris had final say in the matter as he wrote and produced the song.

She explained: "He has to approve anything TV-wise, for anybody who doesn't get it. And obviously he owns the rights to it and he didn't approve the Teen Choice Awards.

"I could have got told a few weeks earlier, you know. That would have been nice. It was a last minute change, but you know what, it happens and we move on and move forward.

"You know, you write a song with somebody, and I guess there's some stuff that comes with it."

Now, Harris, 30, has hit back at the claims and in a series of tweets simply replied:

"You'll only know 1 side of the story RE Teen choice awards because I choose not to talk to the papers about every aspect of my personal life.

"But just know I had a damn good reason."

He then posted an emoji of a hand waving goodbye.

Harris and Ora dated for more than a year. In June, it was Harris who confirmed the relationship had come to an end.
