Earlier this week, an article by Gawker claimed the pair were dating after they were said to have been spotted together in Las Vegas last week. However, the 29-year-old actress has taken to Twitter to directly address the claims.
In a message to the publication regarding the story, she simply replied: "Ahh, this has been hilarious and all but, nope. My apologies to Mr. Allen, who must be equally confused :)".
Kendrick was previously in a relationship with director and producer Edgar Wright but they went their separate ways last year. The actress is not thought to have dated anyone since the split.
Allen, who is the younger brother of singer Lily Allen, currently stars in hit television show Game of Thrones. He was in a relationship with actress Jaime Winstone, but they are said to have ended their relationship last month.
