Earlier this week, Ms Hayes, who briefly dated the former Gladiator star in 2009, criticised her ex in an interview with The Sun. The 26-year-old said of her former partner: "He's not a gentleman at all. He is so in love with himself. All he spoke about was how great he was and his body was."
She went on to say that on one of their dates to Pizza Hut, McIntosh refused to pay the bill, leaving her to do so. Another occasion, they were at McIntosh's home, but he refused to turn up the heating.
"I just sat there miserable, thinking I had better things to do than put up with his terrible chat in a freezing house," Hayes admitted.
Her comments angered Kelly Brook, who is now engaged to McIntosh, and the two women engaged in an argument via Twitter. With McIntosh himself now entering the row, when asked by The Sun if Hayes' claims were true, he replied: "I'm not too sure to be fair. The name [Chanelle] doesn't even ring a bell."
Chanelle, a mum of one, is just the latest celebrity to criticise the couple's relationship, and McIntosh in particular. Brook and her fiancé met at a New Year's Eve party and dated for three months before announcing their engagement in March 2014.
