Taking to Instagram, the former American Idol winner, shared a photo of herself holding the couple's two pet dogs, who were wearing 'big brother' and 'big sister' t-shirts.
The image was captioned: "In honour of 'Labour' Day... Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier!"
Underwood, 31, and Fisher first met in 2008. After secretly dating for around a year, the couple announced their engagement and in 2010, they married in front of 250 guests.
