It read: "Sam Bailey gave birth to her third child, a beautiful baby girl, at 10.41am this morning. Both Mother and baby are doing well. Team Sam x".
Bailey first announced she was pregnant in March.
The X Factor winner and her husband Craig are already parents to Brook, eight, and five-year-old Tommy.
