Earlier this week, Ms Craymer was quoted by The Sun as saying the couple's relationship had ended "some time ago".
She allegedly said of the romance: "I don't know what happened, but it's over now.
"We have a connection every time we see each other but it doesn't go anywhere. It's been over for a while."
However, Smith has now hit out at the report to say that the pair have never dated.
He told his followers on the social networking site: "Just had a very funny phone call with my good friend @PascalCraymer. News papers might as well actually start selling real pork pies."
Craymer also denied the newspaper's claims, adding: "The allegations made about me are false. I've had no relationship nor have I confirmed anything of the sort."
