The 25-year-old has been dating Erin Darke since 2012 and while the couple are fiercely protective about keeping their romance out of the spotlight, the actor has revealed he likes to plan romantic gestures. There are times, however, when he inadvertently ruins his own plans.
Speaking to Marie Claire magazine, the former Harry Potter star said: "I was going to fly to New York to surprise her once, but then I kind of ruined my own surprise the night before because I was on the phone to her and she'd had a terrible day and was in a bad mood and I wanted to make it all go away.
"I just went, 'Guess what? I'm going to be there tomorrow, we're going to see each other'."
Radcliffe and Darke met on the set of Kill Your Darlings. They started dating in October 2012.
